The Philippines is a country of innumerable waterfalls.
There are a lot of waterfalls in the Philippines, with high or lower fall of water or with a gentle or stormy vertical water course. Sometimes, the mass of water is gigantic; however, there are waterfalls which become stunted to a rivulet in the dry season. Watercourses can be forked (twin) or are straggling down if there is a corresponding rock formation. Nearer to their feet they can stream like an opened fan. Sometimes there is a sequence of cascades graded hierarchically with more or less high stairs. Block waterfalls are wider than tall.

Let us start with waterfalls #1 - Pagsanjan Falls
Pagsanjan Falls (indigenous name: Magdapio Falls) are one of the most famous waterfalls in the Philippines. Located in the province of Laguna, the falls are one of the major tourist attractions in the region. The falls are reached by a river trip on dugout canoe known locally as shooting the rapids, originating from the municipality of Pagsanjan. (Photo from LaserBoy)
